Hotel Description
Palawan is yet to be a
fully explored paradise. Situated in the southwestern portion of the
Philippines, the island province is named the last ecological frontier of the
country. To date, Palawan is considered the most promising tourism and vacation
destination, not just in the Philippines but also in the entire Asian continent.
The Bambua Palawan Resort is a small vacation accommodation site that can well
describe and give a hint of what Palawan has in store for guests.
To
begin with, Bambua is a small nature park resort located in Sabang, an area
behind a range of hills, outside the Puerto Princesa Subterranean River. The
resort is situated within an extensive and beautiful garden landscape, nestled
by the unique St. Paul Mountains, which is known as being Palawan's jungle and
farmland.
Because of its geographic features and topography, Bambua Resort has a very
notable and cooler climate. Being adjacent to the Foggy Tropical Forest, Bambua
gets extremely colder especially at night. The resort is a secluded site for
nature lovers and travelers. The structures are all set up in a very spacious
garden landscape.
If
vacationers want a beach outing, Bambua Resort Palawan is not a beach resort,
but it is just about 800 meters from the Sabang pier. Thus, vacationers need
only to walk about 10 minutes or ride for free some Jeepney going to the Sabang
Beach. In fact, from Bambua, guests can already hear the exquisite sound of
waves racing through the Palawan Sea. Because Bambua is not a beachfront, it is
not bogged by sand flies, locally called 'nik-nik.'
Because it is relatively small, Bambua Resort only has four village-type
cottages. The accommodation can be limited, but the comfort and homeliness
offered is exceptional. The units each can accommodate at least two persons. All
cottages are furnished and are made with good terraces, facilitating for
splendid views and significant privacy and seclusion. The units have bathrooms
for cold showers and electric fans. A silence generator provides electricity to
the resort 12 hours each day, so expect the vacation experience to be unique and
quite rural-feeling.
The
homey and hospitable resort is exuding the typical home feeling. It is operated
and owned by two Filipino-German families. There is a need to first make
necessary accommodation reservations to make sure you will book a unit. The
management asks vacationers some time to re-confirm if the booked date is
already taken by other guests. As you could see, simplicity is a main attraction
of Bambua, and apparently, many tourists like its simple and plain accommodation
style.
Bambua Palawan Resort has
its own restaurant, which is serving the most sumptuous vegetarian and
continental cuisines. The food joint is mainly specializing in seafood. You can
always be sure you will get to enjoy the freshest and most mouth-watering
dishes. The kitchen is sourcing majority of its supplies of fruits, vegetables,
eggs, rice, fish, and shrimps from the resort's own Organic Farm. Thus,
vacationers are guaranteed that all dishes are radical-free.
