
Narra is one of the municipalities of the province of Palawan. El Nido, Coron and Puerto Princesa can give you travel experience. It is located approximately 69 kilometers south from Puerto Princesa. The municipality's name Narra was derived from National Resettlement Rehabilitation Administration but also related to the Philippine National Tree (Pterocarpus indicus). Tourists and locals always seek for a relaxing escapade to visit. As El Nido, Coron, and Puerto Princesa in Palawan offer you white-sand beaches, subterranean underground river, island hopping, rappelling, zip lining, trekking, scuba diving, as well as hot springs. In this municipality you can go upto the mountains in the peak of Mount Victoria / Victoriana and Sultan Peak, then dip in the cold waterfalls. Let’s get it on!

Mount Victoriana or Victoria Peak is in the center of Palawan that is located in Narra town, the second highest peak after Mount Mantalingajan. Mount Mantalingajan has an elevation of 2,085 m (6841 ft) while Mount Victoriana has an elevation of 1,726 m (5,663) and 1,619 m (5.312 ft). You will have to cross rivers to get into the peak and because floods may happen, the authorities do not allow the public without permission to climb.There are tour guides that can help you all the way to the top. From the peak, you'll be able to see the scenic view that will wash away the tiredness upon going uphill. It is advisable for tourists to wear trekking shoes to avoid unexpected situations. You can bring water that will quench your thirst but please do not litter the bottles anywhere.
Meanwhile, the Sultan Peak is a bit smaller than Victoriana. It has an elevation around 1,2040 meters above sea level and is 1,100 meters high. In this peak, there are waterfalls. Yes, a crystal clear and cold water from the mountain down to the streams. On top of that you can take a break from walking and watch the water slowly flow or soak your body. In Narra mountains, there are endemic plants like Attenborough's pitcher plant (Nepenthes attenboroughii) and Carnivorous Pitcher plants.

Estrella Waterfall is already popular in the area. There are cottages, stores, shower rooms, picnic areas and guest houses which you can stay for a night. The entrance doesn't cost much but the serenity of the silence and the sounds of the water flashes is an ultimate. They strictly prohibit drinking alcoholic beverages due to previous accidents. You need to ride a motorcycle to reach the area and pass through rough roads.This waterfall is also called the “twin falls”.

If you prefer a beach and relax near the shore, this island is the best place you should go. There are resorts that could accommodate you during your stay. This island is also a home of endemic Philippine red cockatoo locally known as katala,and species of parrots and other endangered species of birds and has an abundant mangrove forest This island is protected by the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) along with Katala Foundation with it’s Philippine Cockatoo Conservation Program. Rasa Island is a bird sanctuary known as Rasa Island Wildlife Sanctuary. The island belongs to Barangay Panacan, Narra, Palawan.
