San Vicente is also known as “First and Premier Flagship Tourism Enterprise Zone”. The flagship of this municipality was the longest beachfront that has a total 14.7 kilometers (9.1 mi) called the Long Beach, the longest in the Philippines. Its coastline covers the four barangays namely Poblacion, New Agutaya, San Isidro and Alimanguan.

Palawan is known as a home of sea turtles (pawikan) and the two endangered species of turtles, green sea turtle and Hawksbill. There is a possibility that you’ll encounter turtles in the sea on slow current, and you can join them swim. Isn't that amazing? There is a turtle sanctuary in the bay which protects the turtles from extinction. This area serves as their nestling place. The mangrove forest helped the turtles and other living creatures to survive and reproduce.

Fresh sea foods are the best during your stay. A scrumptious dish and full stomach will is another way to enjoy. But, of course there are people who aren’t fans of sea foods, you can also try other foods in this area. Food and attraction is a hint of a good trip but a friendly community that could welcome you is the best of all. Filipino have always been known for hospitality. An attitude where guests or visitors are deeply welcomed and treat as part of the family.

Traveling is one of the best gifts for ourselves. Some people like to visit different countries or don't want to miss famous tourist sites. In San Vicente, you’ll be amazed by how blessed this municipality is by nature.

There are a lot of things you must try in San Vicente, the power of being an explorer will surely run through your veins! The sugary-white sand on beaches, the river cruise, the waterfalls, the turtle sanctuary and the rich marine life.

Waterfalls

There are two waterfalls in San Vicente, both giving a unique cascade. The waterfalls namely Pamuayan Waterfalls and Bigaho Falls. These waterfalls are located in Port Barton. The Pamuayan waterfall is 30 meter tall and has a large amount of water flowing downstream. Meanwhile the Bigaho has a 50 meter drop, an extravagant beauty of a waterfall. The surrounding forest and the sound of the water splashing through the stone will occupy your eyes and ears.

People often thought that Port Batron is another municipality or a town proper but it is only a barangay of San Vicente. It is a place that’s worth visiting. The Secret Paradise Resort & Turtle Sanctuary and Taytay Beach is situated in this area.

Nothing can beat the refreshment that the sea could offer. The cold breeze, the sounds of waves, the view of the stunning sunset and sunrise. The beaches here are not crowded unlike any other. Here, you can enjoy and relax.

There are other exciting adventures awaiting you on your arrival! You can go camping, island hopping, snorkeling and river cruise. San Vicente is definitely a small version of El Nido.
