
San Vicente is also known as “First and Premier Flagship Tourism Enterprise Zone”. The flagship of this municipality was the longest beachfront that has a total 14.7 kilometers (9.1 mi) called the Long Beach, the longest in the Philippines. Its coastline covers the four barangays namely Poblacion, New Agutaya, San Isidro and Alimanguan.
Palawan is known as a home of sea turtles (pawikan) and the two endangered species of turtles, green sea turtle and Hawksbill. There is a possibility that you’ll encounter turtles in the sea on slow current, and you can join them swim. Isn't that amazing? There is a turtle sanctuary in the bay which protects the turtles from extinction. This area serves as their nestling place. The mangrove forest helped the turtles and other living creatures to survive and reproduce.

There are two waterfalls in San Vicente, both giving a unique cascade. The waterfalls namely Pamuayan Waterfalls and Bigaho Falls. These waterfalls are located in Port Barton. The Pamuayan waterfall is 30 meter tall and has a large amount of water flowing downstream. Meanwhile the Bigaho has a 50 meter drop, an extravagant beauty of a waterfall. The surrounding forest and the sound of the water splashing through the stone will occupy your eyes and ears.
People often thought that Port Batron is another municipality or a town proper but it is only a barangay of San Vicente. It is a place that’s worth visiting. The Secret Paradise Resort & Turtle Sanctuary and Taytay Beach is situated in this area.
