In Palawan, one of the adventures that tourists and locals enjoy was island hopping. You get to see the island from one to others. You might be confused on the names of the islands on your first trip. If island hopping was on your first list, you should be on the opening hours as it might be crowded and you might end up standing in a long line.

Lakes
[Credit: ケイ ヴィリアカロ/ Sea life / Facebook.com] Baracuda Lake simply speaks for itself

In just around Coron Town, there are two lakes you could visit: The Barracuda Lake and Kayangan Lake. Barracuda Lake was named after a bone of large Barracuda bone fish was found. A Barracuda is ray-finned fish and a predatory fish living in salt water. Kayangan Lake is popular because it is the cleanest lake in the Philippines. Yes, the cleanest and having crystal clear water definitely tempts you to take a dip! Also, the underwater rock formations will surely give you thrills.

This is not an ordinary spring because it is a saltwater hot spring! It is one of the few saltwater springs in the world and the only saltwater spring in the country. The water was being warmed by geothermal (heat within the Earth) energy. Isn't it fascinating! Experts say that soaking under a saltwater hot spring gives you a soother, relaxation feeling. They also said that it gives more minerals than fresh water? Do you agree on this? Surely, we'll be needing your experience on this. The Hot spring is within 40° Celsius and has three pools. The main pool can accommodate less than 100 persons while the other two could make up to 10. This is located in Sitio Maquinit, Coron just near the town.
