In just around Coron Town, there are two lakes you could visit: The Barracuda Lake and Kayangan Lake. Barracuda Lake was named after a bone of large Barracuda bone fish was found. A Barracuda is ray-finned fish and a predatory fish living in salt water. Kayangan Lake is popular because it is the cleanest lake in the Philippines. This is not an ordinary spring because it is a saltwater hot spring! It is one of the few saltwater springs in the world and the only saltwater spring in the country. The water was being warmed by geothermal (heat within the Earth) energy. Isn't it fascinating! Experts say that soaking under a saltwater hot spring gives you a soother, relaxation feeling. They also said that it gives more minerals than fresh water? Do you agree on this? Surely, we'll be needing your experience on this. The Hot spring is within 40° Celsius and has three pools. The main pool can accommodate less than 100 persons while the other two could make up to 10. This is located in Sitio Maquinit, Coron just near the town.

You'll get the epic view of Busuanga and Coron island after taking the exact 721 steps uphill. There are no fees collected in the premises. It's best to go there and watch the magnificent sunset or before the sun rises. The sign 'CORON' is also situated in the peak like the Hollywood sign in Los Angeles.

Palawan has it's impressive white-sand beaches along with the modernized resorts. There are different resorts that give different accommodations and tour packages along Coron town, find those suites for your taste and budget.

It is one of the dive sites in Coron, Palawan. It is a Japanese supply ship that was hit during an airstrike in World War ll. It is between 5 to 25 meters down. A place good for snorkeling and diving.
