One of the major problems in conducting activities in Barangay is where to spend or conduct the different kinds of events.

Education is important, as this allows us to improve
our skills, discover our hidden passion, cultivate our minds to explore more and learn. The government conducts free training for livelihood, education and other events, this will benefit the trainers and trainees especially the youths in the area. This will give the trainers a proper space to use without worrying about anything else.

In the Municipality of Bataraza, Barangay Rio Tuba a multi-purpose center was inaugurated on March 8, 2021. The construction of the building costs P12 million, that consist of two storey stores that will consist of a total of 4 large rooms.

The inauguration was attended by the Tuba Nickel Mining Corporation (RTNMC), Coral Bay Nickel Corporation (CBNC), l, at Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) Palawan, Local Government Unit (LGU's) and Barangay Captain Nelson Acob.

The Barangay Captain Acob said in the palawan news interview that the multi purpose center will be a help to give them a proper training center. He also said that "This is a very big help sa amin at mula talaga ito sa SDMP natin kung wala po ang share natin from SDMP wala rin talaga ito. Formally inaugurated na ito at mga room ay ilalaan natin sa ALS, DepEd, sa council natin at sa iba pang sector katulad ng mga pagsasanay sa mga community natin related to agriculture sakali or from TESDA training."

The building consists of four large rooms which will be used for the Alternative Learning System, an extension of the function hall, training room and for the Department of Education's (DepEd) activities. It is also open for the livelihood activities, training centre for agricultural education, training center sa mga out-of-school-youth (OSY) of TESDA in Palawan.

The building was donated by the two companies through the Social Development and Management Program (SDMP). The Local Government from Rio Tiba is grateful and thankful for the support and making this project possible.

Thankfully, the Barangay Rio Tuba will not search for a larger area and nearest to the community to be attended because of this centre. They will be settled down in a place where no one could interrupt them duing session and classes.

“Nagpapasalamat tayo sa CBNC at RTN sa continuing support nila sa atin at sa SDMP na itinadhana ng ating batas nagkaroon ng kabahagi ang community mula sa kanila. Sa totoo lang po ang center na ito ay big symbol at sign na tayo sa komunidad ng Rio Tuba ay magsikap dahil lahat po ng SDMP natin ay naibabalik natin to use by our community." Acob added.

Livelihood training is one of the basics to share into the community as this will give them ideas on how to be an entrepreneur and what to do to make business grow. This will be a building that will ensure that knowledge, wisdom and information are given equally, and formally
