Palawan is a popular tourist destination in the Philippines. The pristine limestone cliffs, white-sand beaches, bountiful marine life that attracts scuba divers, island hopping, and trekking all in El Nido.

Though Coron is much more accessible than El Nido, you'll be tempted to visit and explore.

El Nido is one of the municipalities of Palawan that was founded in 1961. It was renamed on June 17, 1954 from its former name "Bacuit". It consists of 18 Barangays which are: Bagong Bayan, Buena Suerte (Zone II),Barotuan, Bebeladan, Corong-corong (Zone IV), Mabini (formerly Oton), Manlag, Masagana (Zone III), New Ibajay, Pasadeña, Maligaya (Zone I), San Fernando ,Sibaltan, Teneguiban, Villa Libertad, Villa Paz, Bucana, Aberawan and Poblacion as the town proper.

There are a lot of beach resorts in the area that could accommodate you, just choose for your ideal style and budget.

There are few things you would love to try or enjoy if you're going to El Nido. I have picked one that's more popular and must try during your stay.

Your adventures in El Nido highly depend on what kind of person you are. If you want a peaceful and relaxing vacation, beaches will surely be a good place to breathe fresh air and feel the cold breeze.
