It is also known as the Elephant Island. It is a limestone island with two karst. It is surrounded by white-sand beaches, bountiful coral reefs and lagoons. The island has a cave that houses a bird species locally known as Balinsasayaw or Palawan Swiftletand. This bird is famous for it’s bird nest that is added in a native cuisine.

On this island, you will be astonished by the 1.6km stretch of sand from north to south. The longest beach shore in Taytay. It is rich in coral reefs, and has sea turtles all around the year! Isn't it fascinating? The sea turtles (Pawikan) swim even on shallow parts. It has a mangrove forest and a large portion of seagrasses. The locals are friendly and accommodating, which is a big plus for your trip.

It is a good spot for beginners in scuba diving, thanks to the coral reefs off the island you don’t need to go far. You can also relax and watch the tortoise water or do snorkeling. The powdery white-sand gives a unique color of the beach and makes it more beautiful. It is also called Imbadulan Island.

This is a simple island unlike the others. It has shallow and bountiful coral reefs, and white sand beaches. It has 50 meter deep water on the eastern side of the island, an excellent location for a dive spot.

The Pasinggatan Festival is celebrated in the town of Taytay. The word “singgat” is derived from Cuyonon language which means glimmer and luster. It is celebrated with various activities, one of them is street dancing ( Paantiguan sa Dalan). Contingent in street dancing came from the barangays of Taytay that wear colorful and showcasing the local culture, history, and tourism. There is also a food fair called “Panguetekan” wherein seafoods are displayed in the bay and sport competitions. It is held annually every month of May but the activities start in March.
Municipality of Taytay isn’t a boring place at all. The natural attractions have been encouraging local and international tourists. The scenic view and islands are splendid.
